How To :
~Spooky Curtains~

Who wants to have an awesome spooky party ??!!
Here's a technique and creation that is easy and cheap
and gives a dramatic affect that you are wanting!!
These Spooky Curtains can be used in several different ways, let your imagination go!!! :-)

1st : Supplies -
  • 2 Black Plastic Tablecloths
  • 1 Pair of Scissors

THAT'S IT! :-)

2nd : Cut
  • I unfolded the tablecloths length wise because I needed the length.  Depending on how long you want your curtains you can cut from either side.  One side would give you approximately a 50 inch long curtain, and the other side would give you about 104 inches.
  • I left about 3-4 inches at the top that I didn't cut in order to keep the curtain together.
  • I cut each strip about 2 inches wide.  It doesn't matter if the cut is straight, actually the crooked the better!
  • I then took each strip, starting at the top, began to pull making the plastic stretch, and continued down repeating this technique on each strip until they were all done.

Oopsie!! If you do what I did and accidentally pull too hard and rip the strip, no worries!!  Just take the two ends and double tie them together.  Believe me, you won't be able to tell that they were torn and even if so, it kinda gives an extra spooky effect!

Ta-da!!! Here is it!!!
The finished product!
You can see some of my rips and where I tied them back together, but in the dark no one will be able to tell!
I'm debating on how to finish off this Spooky hanging -
hang a big spider and several other smaller ones?
or hang fake bloody body parts??
You could even hang orange lights or even red or purple!
What do you think?!?! :-)

These can be used inside or outside since they are plastic.
And when Halloween is over, you can just bunch them up and store them 'til next year! No special care needed!
